Some links on Beauty Decoded are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same, and the commission comes out of the retailer's margin — not your pocket.

What that does not change

• We only recommend products that solve a problem we actually write about, such as storage, hygiene, product photography or shipping.
• A brand cannot buy a place on our recommended tools page, and no commission rate changes the ranking or the wording.
• Where a product is optional or overhyped, we say so — including when the honest answer is that you do not need to buy anything.
